Sure, millions of people were tested each year and then hopefully had their 4 letter type codes validated by trained psychologists, but in the end we still want to see physical, concrete proof. According to a study by Debra L. Johnson, entitled “Cerebral Blood Flow and Personality: A Positronic Emission Tomography Study,” published in the February issue of the The American Journal of Psychiatry, the flow of blood throughout the brain is different for Introverts and Extraverts http: Regions in the anterior cingulate gyrus, the temporal lobes, and the posterior thalamus were found to be correlated with extraversion. The findings of the study lend support to the notion that introversion is associated with increased activity in frontal lobe regions. Moreover, the study suggests that individual differences in introversion and extraversion are related to differences in a fronto-striato-thalamic circuit. The way I have heard this described is that the introvert’s brain is naturally in an over stimulated state and thus they desire to quiet things down so they can concentrate.

When they think your funny they don’t laugh, they just smile a bit. If you don’t initiate a conversation there won’t be any because an ISTP for sure won’t.

This type of individual takes relationships seriously and will definitely go to great lengths to make their partner happy but the effort has to be reciprocated. Overall, an ENFP is a fun person to be around and will not shy from affection. This, initially, makes relationships come easily to this sort of individual. For the right person, this kind of relaxed and open attitude can be very refreshing. ENFPs are often affectionate and considerate partners because of their need to please and be accepted.

We’ve already had the initial burst of him hurting me, where he pushed me away but then asked for a second chance which I gave him.
We’re taking it slow again and I already feel much more in tune with him but I am a little scared still However, my question is that we’re both reasonably young, 20 and he has never been in love before and never had a relationship that lasted past 4 months. Am I on the right track? I’m not here to definately conquer him and I’m very aware I can’t just make him fall in love with me, but been through a bit of a rough patch and I finally feel stable with this guy – as in, this is the person I WANT to be stable with.
He freaked out about things being “too intense” once and when he came back to me he said I had done nothing wrong or been too clingy, it was all him. This of course makes me feel a little out of control because if it’s all him freaking out what on earth could I do!? Some of you now may or may not agree with this, I had my tarot read for the first time the other day which I of course take with a pinch of salt, I see it more as spiritual counselling than actual psychic definative proof She said there was very positive energy around it but there was going to be some chaos coming up
